About Captain Chip

FC Charters LLC was established by Chip and Traci Leavine and grew from their love of Florida's Forgotten Coast and its amazing fishing and scenery.

Chip fishing as a boy

Chip is a third generation Florida native.  Growing up on a lake in Florida  gave Chip the opportunity to fish more then most kids should.   It was there Chip developed his passion for catching fish and began learning how to operate a boat.

Several years prior to Chip's retirement, he and Traci began exploring and fishing Florida's Forgotten Coast.  During that time, Chip was given the opportunity by a friend and mentor to operate a larger boat, which he continued to do after his retirement.  Chip's passion for seeing others catch fish continued to grow and in 2016 they founded FC Charters LLC.
